Ana Flavia Topalidis grew up in a farm in central Brazil, where she developed her love for nature and her interest of being involved with a profession that aims to preserve the environment and is focused on achieving without compromising the planet.
Ana Flavia is a senior soft services/waste manager, currently filling that role for EXPO 2020 and has been involved with facilities management throughout her career working for prestigious facilities both in the UK and Middle East.
Her experience covers all aspects of facilities management, from operations to putting together proposals and tracking contract performance. Ana Flavia worked with multiple companies/organisations and acted both as a service provider and service recipient / evaluator / manager giving her a hands on 360 view on all aspects of the facilities management field.
Notable projects that she has been involved in UK include multiple football stadiums including Arsenal Football Stadium, multiple events/sites like Glastonbury Festival and Wimbledon Arena.
Notable projects in the middle east include the Doha Asian Games, and for the past 10 years in UAE, working for major service providers and managing as a service recipient one of the most prestigious sites in Abu Dhabi the Abu Dhabi International Airport, before she moved to her current role for Dubai Expo 2020.
Ana Flavia enjoys spending her free time with her two children and husband, travelling, reading books and taking care of her garden.
